Having lived here for 6 months, I think I can now make an informed judgment on this city.
In a sentence, it is where the old and the new collide, the traditional and the hip:
In one corner, it can be very very crowded, where humans are jammed pack sardines. But a block away is where urban planning is done so successfully, nature and humans co-exit in harmony.
And a 30 min bus ride can take you to a place were civilization is just a distant memory:
Where street vendors line up in every corner for a full culinary experience (even though faux European food makes you only yearn for the real thing). Or where you can eat very strangely presented food…
All in all, a perfectly sized city to meet all you needs.
